M2 1″ Marine Add-On Tweeter Kit (pr)M2-TS
The M2-TS 1″ tweeter kit increases system overall sonic performance by adding to your existing M2 Color Optix™ full range speakers. The tweeter is protected with a stainless-steel mesh grille and can be installed using a flush or horn mount bezel. The Element Ready™ design and IPX6 certification makes them truly purpose-built for marine or motorsport applications where protection from damaging UV rays and water spray is essential. The M2-TS add-on tweeters do not incorporate built-in LEDs, but are designed to work with M2 Color Optix™ speakers that do. Sold in pairs (2 each).
Overview
The M2-TS allows the addition of component tweeters to any new or existing system. The Element Ready™ design is accomplished through the IPX6 rated front and grill and IPX5 frame. The UV Stable ASA plastic frame & grille design stands up to harsh marine environments, and the gold-plated Marine Grade brass connection terminals provide a corrosion resistant, maintenance free connection. The crossover is a fully sealed external passive 18dB/octave Audiophile Grade high pass crossover utilizing metalized polyester film capacitors selected for their dependability, long life span and preferred electrical characteristics. Kit includes back-mount flush kit and white horn-loaded mount bezel.
